Mention the “Corporate Executive Board” to obtain the preferred rate of $253 for a single or double guestroom. Please note that all space and rates are subject to availability.

BY BUS: Getting to McCormick Place by bus is possible through the city transit system. The Chicago Transit Authority provides bus service and runs approximately every 15 minutes. Drop off is located at the main entrance to the South Building on Martin Luther King Drive. View bus line details here>>.
BY CAR: Please click here to view driving directions to McCormick Place. While there are two main parking lots on the campus, we recommend Parking Lot A for best access to the South Hall. The parking rate is currently $16 and is a flat fee regardless of the amount of time your vehicle is parked. Parking fees can be paid by cash or credit card; VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. A map of the McCormick Place parking lots can be found here>>.
BY TAXI: Numerous taxis are available throughout the city and at both O’Hare and Midway International Airports. If arriving from Midway or O’Hare, please allow 35 minutes to 45 minutes respectively with traffic. Taxis from Midway cost approximately $25 and taxis from O’Hare cost approximately $55 to $60. For easiest access to the South Hall, please disembark at Gate 1 at the corner of West 23rd Street and South Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Drive.
BY TRAIN: The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) manages the three public transit operations in northeastern Illinois: The Chicago Transit (CTA), Metra commuter rail and Pace suburban bus. From Downtown Chicago: The #3 King Drive and the #4 Cottage Grove buses run downtown and may be picked up at the following locations:
- South Building - King Drive and 23rd Street
- West Building - southwest and northeast corners of the Indiana Avenue and Cermak Road intersection
- The #3 runs from morning to midnight daily, and the #4 runs 24 hours on weekdays (Monday through Friday) only.
- From Union Station: From the corner of Canal Street and Jackson Blvd, take the #7 or the #126 bus on Jackson to Michigan Avenue, obtain a transfer to either the #3 King Drive or #4 Cottage Grove bus which will take you to McCormick Place.
- From the Ogilvie Transportation Center (previously Northwestern Train Station): From the Washington Street exit, take any bus to Michigan Avenue, obtain a transfer to either the #3 King Drive or #4 Cottage Grove bus, which will take you to McCormick Place.
- Regional Transit Authority (METRA): Located on Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse, the METRA commuter railroad provides direct service within seven minutes to and from downtown Chicago. Service from the Randolph Station (nearby the Fairmont Hotel) to McCormick Place begins early morning, with more frequent pick-ups during rush hours. Shuttle connections can be made to the METRA system. METRA services the Midwest as far north as Kenosha, Wisconsin; northwest to Fox Lake and Harvard; west to Elgin, Geneva and Aurora; southwest to Joliet and Orland Park; south to University Park; and east to South Bend, Indiana.

A: Yes, registration will be open Sunday, May 11th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. Please look for signage in the main lobby of the Hyatt directing you to the Urgent Issues Conference registration area on the second floor of the hotel.
A: A dedicated conference coat check and luggage storage service will be offered in S-404 D on the Fourth Four of the South Hall for your convenience. For guests staying at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, the hotel will be happy to assist with luggage storage. Please inquire at the bell stand in the hotel lobby for more information.
A: From Gate 1/Taxi Drop-off: Upon exiting your taxi at the main drop-off on King Drive, proceed straight ahead into the main entrance of McCormick Place. Walk past the information desk on your right to access the escalators. Proceed up three sets of escalators to access the conference on the Fourth Floor, South Hall.
From the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place: Depart the hotel lobby past the main elevator banks and turn left. Follow the hallway around to the right. At the end of this hallway, walk through a set of glass to enter McCormick Place. Turn left at the McCormick Place Information Desk to access the escalators. Proceed up three sets of escalators to the fourth floor and turn to your right.
From Parking Lot A: Depart Lot A, walking out of the garage and following the covered walkway directly into the Conference Center. Proceed up three sets of escalators and walk past the Information Desk on the left to reach the Fourth Floor, South Hall.
A: Airport Courtesy Shuttles: We are pleased to provide courtesy shuttles to O’Hare and Midway International Airports at the following times on Tuesday 13 May:
O’Hare International Airport 2:45pm, 3:00pm
Midway International Airport 2:45pm
Shuttles will depart from Gate 1 of the South Building at these scheduled times. Please note that limited space is available.
